Project Prarambh

In rural India, Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools suffer from dire infrastructure, marked by overcrowded classrooms, crumbling buildings, and inadequate facilities. The lack of basic amenities such as desks, chairs, and functional toilets creates significant obstacles to students’ learning. Coupled with a shortage of qualified teachers, these conditions contribute to high dropout rates among students, especially girls.
The partnership between SGA, Bridge the Gap Foundation, and Ladies Circle India has transformed one of such rural Zilla Parishad school in Sawangi village, Nagpur district. The school, previously declared unsafe, now boasts RCC classrooms, sanitation facilities, and a play area, making it child-centric and holistic.
This initiative positively impacts over 110 children, providing them with a safer and better learning environment.
