Q.Hi Sid. Can you walk us through your career path and the key milestones that led you to your current role as CEO of SG Analytics?

A.

My career has been shaped by two anchors, precision and empathy. At ITC, Deutsche Bank, and Credit Suisse, I saw how data drives billion-dollar decisions. At IHS Markit, I scaled global teams and built insight-driven businesses. BRIDGEi2i was a turning point, we grew it into a focused analytics player that Accenture acquired. Joining SG Analytics was a natural inflection point. We’ve since doubled revenue, stayed profitable, and built a culture where insight is both data-driven and human. Now, with Straive, we’re creating a global AI and analytics powerhouse. Growth is good; compounding value is better.

Q.What are some of the most significant trends you see shaping the business landscape in the next 5–10 years?

A.

Data alone won’t win. Actionable insight will. The real problem isn’t dashboards, it’s clarity. I call it the invisible insight problem: truth buried in noise. The leaders who treat curiosity as a strategic asset will win. Purpose will shift from being “nice to have” to a measurable driver of enterprise value. AI will accelerate scale, but human judgment will define impact. The companies that master fundamentals and scale them with precision, not those chasing hype, will separate from the pack.

Q.How do you foster a culture of continuous learning and development within your team?

A.

Learning starts with safety, the freedom to question without fear. At SG Analytics, insight is everyone’s currency. On a recent visit to India, I saw sharp questions, hunger for tough problems, and shared accountability. That’s real learning: built into daily execution, not left to training manuals. The strongest teams evolve quietly, consistently, together.

Q.In your academic or work career, were there any mentors who have helped you grow along the way?

A.

One board member told me, “Listen longer than you think you should, especially when you believe you’ve heard enough.” That advice has been gold. Patience in listening isn’t delay, it’s depth. The best mentors don’t just give advice, they force you to rethink your convictions.

Q.What are some of your passions outside of work? What do you like to do in your time off?

A.

Theatre keeps me sharp, it teaches you to listen between lines and adapt in real time. Those instincts matter in boardrooms too. I’m also a fan of live sports, especially tennis and cricket. Watching belief and grit overturn rankings reminds me that underdogs can beat giants with mindset and discipline. Even the ball kids teach a lesson, consistency behind the scenes creates excellence on the stage.

Q.How do you see your role evolving in the next 5–10 years, and what are your goals for SG Analytics?

A.

I see my role shifting from execution to orchestration. At Straive + SG Analytics, we’re positioned to lead the convergence of analytics, content, and AI. My focus will be to scale autonomy, empowering teams, designing platforms, and clearing noise so clarity prevails. The mission stays the same: humanize data, elevate insight, and create measurable impact. Every company I’ve led has been about unlocking enterprise value with surgical precision. That’s still the north star.

Q.What advice would you give to business leaders looking to navigate complex and rapidly changing markets?

A.

Don’t confuse motion with meaning. In volatile markets, piling on tools and dashboards creates noise, not clarity. The real question is: “What do we already know but aren’t acting on?” Insight without action is cost; insight with outcomes is value. Reward depth, not noise. And remember, resilience comes from relevance. Stay curious, stay grounded, and lead with both data and heart.
